Filtration, UV, and Humidity Control
An air scrubber runs continuous filtration against the dust, mold spores, and everyday pollutants that a standard filter alone doesn't catch. A UV light mounted in the air handler neutralizes airborne bacteria and viruses as the air passes through, working alongside your filter rather than replacing it. Attic insulation does double duty here, it keeps the conditioned air you're paying for inside the house and keeps outdoor heat and pollutants from working their way in. And because Gulf Coast humidity sits high most of the year, a whole-home humidifier or dehumidifier holds the air at a level that actually feels comfortable instead of sticky, without asking the AC to overwork itself just to pull moisture out of the air.
Why Duct Leaks Matter More Here Than Almost Anywhere
A lot of Tomball area homes run their ductwork through the attic, and an attic in this climate gets brutally hot. A leaking supply or return duct up there pulls hot, dirty attic air straight into the airstream headed for your living room, which fights your system and your air quality equipment at the same time. We inspect ductwork for leaks and gaps, seal what's letting air escape, and install new duct runs where the existing ones have failed. It's one of the most overlooked fixes in a Gulf Coast home and often one of the most noticeable once it's done.
